Jack emerged a one of the internet’s most-read horror and suspense writers in 2015 when he was hired as a feature writer for Thought Catalog’s Creepy Catalog banner. Since 2015, he has published more than 50 short stories that have been read, shared, and Liked by millions and had his first novelette, Good Night’s Sleep, published by Thought Catalog Books in 2016.
His popular short story Snorkeling (more than 2 million reads online) was adapted for film in 2018 by acclaimed music video director Emil Nava, starring Kristine Froseth (Sierra Burgess Is A Loser) and Daniel Zolghadri (Eighth Grade) and produced by Automatik (Sinister, Operation Finale), Three Six Zero (Vox Lux) and Alexis Ohanian (Reddit). Snorkeling is slated for release in 2019.
A working writer living in Los Angeles, Jack also has a number of film and television projects in various states of development around town.
He started his writing career growing up in the dark woods of Washington State (Clear Lake) and selling fiction to his classmates before becoming a professional journalist with his work featured by numerous publications including The Seattle Times, ESPN, Men’s Fitness and many others.
He currently lives somewhere in Hollywood with his wife Caitlin.
